  • Age: 20
  • Grade Level: 9
  • Family: I am Angelina Ajok Monywir. I came to NLM on 15th of January 2006. I have eight years in NLM school. I came alone because I don't have my parents. I am double orphan. I lost all my parents during the war time. I was just walking home to helping people to do their works, e.g, sweeping the rooms, sending me to bring whatever they wanted, pounding the sorghum, fetching water and so many others. I was ten years old when I came to NLM. At first when I came to NLM's gate, I met with one of the teachers in NLM school called Barnabas, he asked me “why did you come alone ?'' I answered him that I came alone because I don't have my parents and nobody is responsible for me. I wasn't wearing special clothes, I was even walking bare-footed. From that time up to now I stay in the boarding. New Life Ministry is my father, mother, brother and sister. NLM is my family. I love NLM very much. Thanks a lot and a lot and may God bless you.

  • Family: I came to NLM when I was seven years old in 2007. Now I have eight years in NLM school. I am in class eight. I am in boarding and progressing on well with studies. I also wish to be a doctor to help the people. I have no parents. Since I was young I found myself in the market as one of the street children and soon the man called Garang Deng came and told me that I was looking for you all these two years, I am son of your aunt. I asked him where is my aunt? Do I really have some of my parents? He said yes and including that lets go home now. I accepted and when we reached home my aunt realized me and cried. I kept quiet because I knew nothing.''She asked, Deng, do you know me now?'' I answered her that I don't know. She told me that I am your mother's sister and she also told me that I am Deng Deng and what I know about my names was only Deng. I stayed with her for the whole year and brought me to NLM. I was given a christian name David when I came NLM. Now I am David Deng Deng. I am thankful to God and the founders of NLM who brought the change of my life.
